An article by Tim, reporting and reflecting after a workshop he organised at a Team D5 seminar in Brussels. In this ideation session, the Team D5 members (all government crisis communicators) went hands on with tech innovation, exploring new possibilities of informing the public during large scale emergencies. Tim applied new innovation/ideation methods he picked up at his newest professional challenge: being member of the Foresight Team at Digipolis in Ghent, a team which specialises in exploring and defining future scenarios for the city, the possibilities of new technologies for citizens and the impact of new technologies on citizens.
